Teaching & Mentoring

• Completed pedagogical training at Stanford Scientific Teaching Summer Institute;

• Co-mentored 14 graduate students and undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds on their independent research projects at Stanford and Argonne, including two from the Stanford - IIT Bombay Undergraduate Research Program.

Project Experience ​

• Substantial experience in successful proposal writing and project management;

• Presented at DOE Project Annual Review Meetings on behalf of the research team;

• Reported research progress to Bill Gates and the Breakthrough leadership team (Oct. 18th, 2023);

Service​​​

• Organized biweekly research seminars for researchers from Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, and Physics Departments;

• Co-organized research workshop at the 2025 SSRL/LCLS Users Meeting;​

• Served as reviewers for Science Advances, Nature Communications, Physical Review Applied, Physical Review Materials, Physical Review X, APL Materials, JACS;

• Served as proposal reviewers for the DOE Office of Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) program and DOE BES synchrotron light source facilities.
