East Palo Alto Tap Trust Study
Research Goals
Co-produce a broadly-usable tap water survey with community partners and distribute to residents in parallel with at the tap, water quality testing
Identify relationships between water quality indicators, perception of quality, resident’s trust and adaptation via research products
Communicate results to inform action by community, water service providers, and regulators in each context
Your Role in the Project
Background Survey
Complete an initial background survey about your household and water usage.
This initial background survey will only need to be completed once.
Study Periods
Study Period 1: Feb/Mar 2024
Study Period 2: July/Aug 2024
Water Quality Testing
Allow us to collect tap water samples from your home (the first draw of tap water in the morning).
Sampling Dates:
One time between June 24-28
One time between July 22-26
3x Weekly Mini-Observations
Submit mini-observations three times a week during the two study periods. (30 total times between both study periods)
