I work at Stanford University IT Technical Facilities as a Data Center Engineer

I am maintaining this site as a way to document my own learning journey in what is essentially a "second career" for me. Prior to working in facilities, I was an accountant for 15+ years and a California licensed Certified Public Accountant

I find work in critical infrastructure and facilities to be extremely rewarding and an "under the radar" career so I hope I can share what I've learned and have this be a resource for others whether you want to work in a data center or a critical facility such as a hospital or just facilities maintenance in general
