Using a transresistive amplifier setup and an analog input on the Arduino Teensy LC, we oriented to the IR beacon by setting an appropriate light level threshold based on recorded phototransistor data.

We shielded the phototransistor using a straw and black tape, to prevent it from receiving IR radiation when not facing the beacon.
