Arriving & Meeting the Group

Transfer From the Airport 

Airport transfers are included for all travelers arriving in Vilnius and transferring to the group hotel. We will use the flight information you provided to the Travel/Study office to arrange your transfers; please review the information below and alert us if there have been any significant changes to your flight itinerary. Note that you may be grouped with other travelers arriving on the same flight or at the same time. 

After you claim your bags and exit customs, look for our local staff member who will be holding a “Stanford Travel/Study” sign.

At the Hotel

Check-in time at the Grand Hotel Vilnius, Curio Collection by Hilton, is at 3:00 p.m. Luggage can be left with the bell captain if you arrive before your room is ready. 

Our first group activity will be an optional walking tour through the Old Town and Cathedral Square, departing at approximately 4:30 p.m. from the lobby.

As a reminder, if you are arriving early and opted to book any extra nights directly with the hotel rather than through Travel/Study, you may need to change rooms when the main program starts since hotels cannot always link individual hotel reservations with group reservations. We have relayed individual reservation information to the hotel. We hope it won’t be an issue, but room assignments are ultimately decided by the hotel.
