WILLIAM CHUEH - is the Director, Precourt Institute for Energy, Associate Professor of Materials Science and Engineering, of Energy Science and Engineering, of Photon Science, and Senior Fellow at the Precourt Institute for Energy.Â
Professor Chueh is an internationally renowned materials scientist and solid state electrochemist. He is well-known for his work on energy research in the field of fuel cells and batteries. His research combines the most advanced experimental techniques with a profound insight into basic solid state chemistry and physics. William Chueh has a strong background in materials science and engineering. William prior positions include Chief Scientific Advisor and Co-Founder of Mitra Chem (May 2021), Associate Professor of Materials Science & Engineering at Stanford University (June 2012). William also worked as a Truman Postdoctoral Fellow at Sandia National Laboratories from October 2010 to June 2012. William Chueh completed their high school education at Troy High School from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they pursued higher education at Caltech, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and a PhD in Materials Science between 2001 and 2010.
