ELENA BERMAN - Chief Technology Officer of Insight M, has spent well over a decade researching and leading in the field of methane emissions. Elena has helped pioneer advances in the scientific understanding of greenhouse gas emissions through her career, patents, and publications. Elena leads all Insight M research activities, hardware development, software development, and advanced data analytics as well as serving as principal investigator on government-funded collaborative research projects. She earned her PhD in Physical Chemistry from Stanford University and completed postdoctoral studies at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.  Elena’s passion for the environment extends into her personal life as well – on any given weekend you will probably find her hiking in the redwoods.
