Celebrating 70 Years | 1956 - 2026
June 2026
To the Family of Faith at St. Andrew’s,
Hello all I hope this finds you well! We are celebrating several things here at St. Andrew’s that I want to tell you about. We had 2 amazing young people Gia and Haiden Affirm Their Faith, we will celebrate our impressive graduates and next Sunday we will award our Sunday School kids for the work that they have put in during the year.
I have some exciting news!
We got asked by the synod to host an event that I think could be really fun because we’re gonna plan it and the synod staffers are going to help make it happen. So far, I have a band and a fully paid for food budget and a big tent-the rest is up to us. Let’s throw a Jesus party for our neighbors, some kind of one day VBS and I have a date; Aug 27. Right near the end of summer, we need a Party Committee, fun people only please.
I still need your graduates. Send me an email by Tuesday with pictures if possible. We would love to hear all the milestone stories.
Let’s continue to pray for, honor and learn with our recent confirmands Gia and Haiden. Their chosen Bibles verses are ripe for our reflection, I invite you to use these verses in your prayer life this week. Haiden’s Bible Verse: In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. Ephesians 4:26-7. Gia’s Bible Verse: I pray that...you will be able to feel, as all God's children should, how long, how wide, how deep, and how high His love really is' and to experience this love for yourself though it is so great you will never see the end of it,. or fully understand it. Ephesians 3:17-19. May we always strive to encourage and empower our young people.
Don’t forget our online service option as you travel this summer. We average about 15 people online every Sunday. People in Florida, New Jersey, Maryland, Illinois and beyond worship alongside us, reminding us that the world involves a lot more than we can see with just our eyes.
Bless you friends, Pastor Dave
