I want to personally thank everyone who has helped with the various cleaning projects around the parish. It is exciting for me as I hope it is for all of you to see the transformation of both within and around the parish! I have been delighted to meet many of you through these projects and partner with you in seeing the amazing potential of our parish. How blessed are we by Our Lord to have such a wonderful place to call our home for both faith and community! It has also brought me a lot of joy as your new pastor to see your dedication and love for St. Andrew! I honestly brag to all of my brother priests about you! We are united and want to work together to ensure the vitality of our parish and grow spiritually in our relationship with God, who, again, has truly blessed us! As we soon approach Thanksgiving, know that I am very grateful for the gift that is St. Andrew Parish.
As another encouraging note of thanks and testimony to the strength of our parish, I received from the Archdiocese the results of the Annual Catholic Appeal that occurred before my arrival. Our goal for 2025 was $31,555. We exceeded that goal with $57,758! We will be receiving money back from the Archdiocese accordingly.
Next week I will be away with family friends on a hunting trip in southern Illinois. Know of my continued prayers for all of you even as I sit in the woods (trying not to fall asleep).
As we round out this year's annual Season of Stewardship, we ask that any household that has not yet completed their annual commitment to prayerfully consider the gifts they have been given and to make a generous response of their TIME, TALENT, and TREASURE to build God's Church through the ministries of Saint Andrew Parish.

If you were not able to have a sitting with Universal Photo Studios to have your photo taken for the parish and school, you can still have your photo included in the directory. The cost is $15 and for participating, you will also get a parish directory. Complete the online form and upload your photo to be included.
Thank you for all the help cutting out ornaments for our Giving Trees this past weekend! Kids, Grandparents and Mom's and Dad's were on hand helping! Keep an eye out for our trees which will be up and stocked with ornaments starting the weekend of November 22nd and 23rd. The Giving Trees will be located in the back of the Church and in the School, outside the main office. We will make sure we provide ornaments to the ECE classes as well. We'll be handing out ornaments before school and at pick up after Thanksgiving break.
All women of the parish are warmly invited to join our new Women’s Group, which meets every Wednesday at 9:45 AM in the Parish Office following the school Mass. It’s a welcoming, multigenerational group where we share faith, prayer, and fellowship—babies and toddlers are always welcome!
Please note, there will be no meeting on Wednesday, November 26th during Thanksgiving week. We’ll resume the following Wednesday.
