Lydia is a public historian, writer, and actor based in upstate New York. Her WWII-era plays TINTED RED and ADELE IN BERLIN placed as Finalists for the 2016 National Jane Chambers Award and in the 2015 Riant Theatre’s Strawberry One-Act Festival respectively. Her short play OPERATION BLACK FLY won 2nd Place for Best Overall Play in Art in the Public Eye’s 2021 Virtual Play Fest. She has written docent training material for the Martin Van Buren National Historic Site, and also served as dramaturg for the Theatre Institute at Sage’s 2017 production of the musical CABARET.
