Rivka Rivera

Rivka Rivera is an award-winning actor, writer and producer. A Brooklyn native, Rivka became serious about her craft after attending LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts (the Fame school). She went on to earn her BFA in theatre from Carnegie Mellon University. As an actress, Rivka can be seen in films like “Firelight” on ABC/HALLMARK opposite Cuba Gooding Jr. and Sci-Fi Cult Favorite “The Circle” on Netflix. Most recently Rivka can be seen starring in the ensemble web-comedy “Abandon All Hope” with she produced as well. Currently, Rivka is preparing to make her directorial debut with a film called “Are you ok? Cause I’m ok?” based on a mushroom trip she took with her mother. Rivka has also spent the past 4 years co-developing and facilitating a project called “To Protect, Serve and Understand” which brings NYPD Officers and Civilians together to improvise, make theater and have difficult conversations. Rivka’s primary intention in all of the work she does is to inspire creative inquiry and to shed light on the complex human experience.
