Malcolm Minor

A Newark, NJ, native. Malcolm is an alum of The Children's Theater Workshop / Peppermint Players. Where he studied under the tutelage of Marie Thomas for 10 years. There he studied not only acting, but singing, poetry and dancing as well. It is because of this school he was able to perform on major stages from NJPAC to Madison Square Garden for the McDonald’s Gospel Fest, and Radio City Music Hall. Malcolm holds a BA in Theater from Ramapo College of NJ and an MFA in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University. He has performed at Unfix Festival, the National Black Theater Festival, JagFest 4.0 and the infamous Williamstown Theater Festival. In 2018, Malcolm became the 1st head coach of the North Star Academy Speech Team. Since building the program his students have gone on to become finalists at Yale, Princeton, UPenn, not to mention state champions, and national qualifiers.
