Katharina was born in München, Germany, and grew up in various parts of Germany, Hungary, Australia and the USA. She is bilingual in both German and English, and can learn lines in French and Yiddish, as well as currently studying Korean. She has a peculiar affinity for the theater of the Absurd and trained in devising by Andy Paris of the Tectonic Theatre Company, Shakespeare by Anjalee Deshpande-Hutchinson, and Commedia dell'Arte by Kali Quinn. Recently she attended Garden State Film Festival 2020 for her film Beauty (written and directed by Andrew Schwarz, Best LGBTQ Domestic Short Cutting Room International Film Festival). When not obsessing over a line's subtext, she enjoys working part time as her dogs' petting attendant and being at her cat's beck and call. Thank you to Leslie Weishaal for the opportunity to be a part of this work and Leodis IV Smith for writing this incredibly poignant piece.
