Freda Mattea

Freda Mattea graduated from the Eugene O’Neill National Musical Theatre Institute and has spent her life traveling between New York City and Nantucket, MA. She began her career as an actress and stage manager and is thrilled to be a co-creator and the General Manager of Standby for Places.

She has directed The Importance of Being Earnest and An Ideal Husband by Oscar Wilde for Standby for Places, and some of her other works include Auntie Mame (On The Isle, Production Manager), Home for the Holidays (Theatre Workshop of Nantucket, Line Producer).
