Derek Liakos

Derek Liakos (playwright) is a Los Angeles based screenwriter. A New York native, he graduated summa cum laude from Skidmore College in 2012, where he studied theater and English. He is currently developing a WWII set drama series, animated gay buddy comedy, and a sci-fi feature. In addition to screenwriting, Derek is a published short story author, art enthusiast, and plant dad. One time, he met Charlize Theron at a party and she told him that she liked his shoes.
