About
Addressing systemic racism and injustices that have been built up over generations in our schools requires bold goals, which is why a group of IPS parents gathered over several months to write these recommendations for IPS leaders.
The fact is that white students in IPS are four-and-a-half times more likely to be proficient in English and math compared to Black students. When compared to Latino students, white students are almost three times more likely to reach that benchmark. It's not the kid's fault and this major opportunity gap must be erased.
