1. Using your knowledge of Makey Makey, design a musical instrument that can play 5 notes (C, D, E, F, G). You can build with a partner, or you can build solo.

2. You can use any of the materials in this room.

3. Assign a color to each note (see diagram to the right); and label it accordingly on your instrument.

4. You will have these three sound-based Scratches to choose from for musical sound: Guitar, Kalimba, or Piano. Your instrument shape DOES NOT have to correspond to the sound.

5. Practice playing "Ode to Joy" on your instrument (available as a print-out as well).
