Welcome! This is my second year teaching 5th grade at St. Alphonsus/St. Patrick School and I couldn't more excited to be here! The Celtic community is one that I am already proud to say I am a part of. I graduated from Loras College in Dubuque, IA, in 2006. Out of college, I taught 5th grade and Jr. high for 5 years before taking time off to raise my 9 year old identical twin daughters, Amelia and Olivia. I returned to teaching 3 years ago, where I had been teaching 4th grade and 3rd Grade ELA/Reading. I strive to create a strong classroom community, develop engaging learning activities, and help students find a passion for reading.
