As a preschool teacher, I believe some of the best learning happens when children can touch, explore, create, and get a little messy! We love hands-on activities that encourage curiosity and allow children to learn through play. Sensory play gives children opportunities to explore new textures, smells, sounds, and materials while building important skills. We also love bringing nature indoors by using leaves, rocks, flowers, sticks, and other natural treasures in our activities. Whether we’re mixing, digging, painting, squishing, or exploring, our classroom is a place where children can learn, discover, and have fun—sometimes with a little mess along the way!
