Pancake Tuesday- Masterchef comes to 1/2

On Tuesday, Masterchef Helen taught us how to make pancakes. We followed the procedure to make delicious pancakes. When we write the steps of a procedure we need to remember the 'bossy verb' that goes at the start of each step

Here we are making bundles of 10 in Maths.

We are learning to make and break numbers into groups of 10s and counting on the individual sticks.

Making bundles helps up to understand that numbers can be broken up into tens and ones. This will help us later on when we learn to add and subtract numbers.
