Scrap Metal – The Environmental Concern Committee has a resource for this, please send us an email under Contact Us.
Styrofoam Packaging – The Environmental Concern Committee has a resource for this, please send us an email under Contact Us.
Plastic Grocery Bags, plastic overwrap, etc - Kroger stores (and other grocers) have recycling bins in the lobby.
Food and drink cartons can be recycled. Visit Recyclecartons.com (see above) for more information.
Clothing – H & M recycles old clothes and textiles in any condition. Also consider local donation drives!
The Goodwill also recycles clothing that doesn't sell
Printer Ink, Toner Cartridges, Pens, Markers, Crayons – Staples stores will recycle these.
Batteries – Staples stores will recycle these, as will Greenway, 2318 Watterson Trail, 40299, 502-749-0390, recycling at no charge

Composting - U of L’s composting center, located at 240 E. Bloom St. (One block north of Cardinal Blvd, between Brook and Floyd St). Open to the public. Louisville.edu/sustainability/operations/composting
