Welcome to B&B Mysa, 

My name is Linda and I am your host and welcome you at Bed and Breakfast Mysa. B&B Mysa is part of Stal Bankers and located in the countryside between the city of Helmond and the village’s Bakel and Deurne. Together with my husband Jeroen, our son and our dog Nelly we are living at the other site of this building. On this page you will find some background information.

Stal Bankers

Stal Bankers is a horse farm for breeding and training show jumping horses. Every spring two foals will be born and we keep the foals on the farm where they grow up and are educated until they are eight years old. Horse breeding has always been a part of family Bankers. The B&B is a sideline activity on this farm. With the B&B we offer the opportunity to others to enjoy this peaceful place surrounded by nature. 

More about your host Linda

My name is Linda and I was born and raised in the Swedish Lapland above the polar circle. This is the place with polar nights, northern lights, Ice Hotel, midnight sun, dog sledding, ice-fishing and snow scooters. It is beautiful there and I love the nature and to be outside cross country skiing in the winter or to walk in the mountains in the summer. But I also have another passion which is horses and that was what brought me to the Netherlands in 2010. After finishing an equine study in Sweden I came down here for an internship and I stayed here. 

The name B&B MYSA

Since I am Swedish I wanted my roots to be reflected in the name so therefore I chose a Swedish word. Mysa means to be engaged in an activity that is comfortable and enjoyable. To be content and cozy. That is the feeling that I want you as a guest to feel when you visit this B&B. 

With that said I wish you a very pleasant stay here and I want to advise you to sit down, enjoy the view and make yourself a cup of coffee or tea and have a “FIKA” as we would say in Sweden. Tip: The sunrise early in the morning is beautiful from your room.
