Welcome to 1B!

       My name is Heather Kersey and this is my 18th year here at St. Thomas. Not only am I teacher, but a mom too. I have two daughters, both graduates of St. Thomas.  Micaela graduated from Padua Academy in Wilmington, Delaware and Drexel University with a degree in Environmental Science, Biology and Geology.. She just moved to Florida to start her PHD in Biology at Florida International University.  Ava is a Senior this year at the University of  Delaware. . She is on her way to becoming a nurse.  She is also a member of the Soriity Gamma Phi Beta. 

     I attended Our Lady of Charity grade school and graduated from Padua Academy.   I then went on to  graduate from West Chester University with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have taught both preschool and kindergarten, but first grade is my favorite!!

 I also have a few pets at home, a dog named Milo and a cat named Kitty.  I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with my family.  I am  a Phillies fan and enjoy going to the games.    We also LOVE Disney!
