Weekly Challenges and Activities
April 20th to April 24th
April is Poetry Month…
Let’s get creative with your poetry!
Using the books you have at home, make a spine poem by lining up the edges of all your books. Take a picture and send it to us!
You could also make a blackout poem. Use an old book, newspaper or magazine and choose words on the page that could form a poem. Black-out the words you don’t need by either making a design or just coloring. What you have left is your poem!
Three booktalks from Ms. Ashby (Heim Middle School) on books available now in the SORA app.
Play a digital Breakout game!
Tune in to play live at 2 pm Monday-Friday for possible prizes
