Thank you SO much for taking the risk to try out for volleyball this year! To our 6th and 7th graders, we can't wait to see what you bring to the court next year. 8th graders - there are 3 teams that you will have the opportunity to try out for at the high school level. We encourage all of you to continue seeking out opportunities to play the game, develop their skills, and be a part of the local volleyball community. 

26-27 Tryout Information

Dates: 

Monday, August 17(6th ONLY), 

Tuesday, August 18 (7th/8th ONLY), 

Wednesday, August 19(ALL grades), 

Thursday, August 20*

* will be by invitation only. 

Time: 4:10-6:00 PM Families, please be at HHP ready to pick up your students at 5:50PM. 

All participants MUST have a current VHSL physical dated AFTER 5/1/2025. Physicals should be submitted to PE teachers BEFORE tryouts begin on. 

Information: 

All participating students should have the following: 

• Athletic clothes (shorts/leggings and t-shirt preferred) - no jeans 

• Shoes that are PE approved (sneakers, athletic shoes, etc.) - no boots, crocs, slides

• A water bottle (maybe a snack) 

• A good attitude 

*** knee pads are encouraged but not required for tryouts *** 

A list of tryout numbers that are invited Thursday, 8/21 will be posted here by 9PM Wednesday, 8/20 and by the gym doors Thursday morning.
