Order of Events:
Tuesday Meets - Shot Put; Discus; Boys High Jump; Girls Long Jump; Girls Triple Jump; 1600m; 110m Hurdles; 400m Lane Race; 800m; 4x200m Relay
Thursday Meets - Shot Put; Discus; Girls High Jump; Boys Long Jump; Boys Triple Jump; 2400m; 100m; 400m (Waterfall); 4x100m Relay; 200m; 4x400m Relay
Track Meets start at approximately 5 p.m. and usually conclude around 7 p.m. Host schools typically start field events first and then begin the running events shortly thereafter.
County Track Meet *Only Qualifying Student Athletes Participate*:
Tuesday, 5/7 - @ North Stafford High School (Field Events)
Wednesday, 5/8 - @ Stafford High School (Running Events)
Start Time: 11 a.m.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Can I leave with my child following his/her event?
Yes. We simply ask that the child informs his/her coach and we get a "wave" from the parent before leaving the track meet.
Can my child leave a track meet with someone other than a family member?
Yes. We ask that you give us advanced notice though if your child is leaving with a different parent/friend.
Is transportation provided for my child?
Yes. A bus will take us to all of our meets this year, and we will have a bus returning back to DSMS following each track meet as well. We kindly ask that you are awaiting your child's arrival back at our school, so that we can leave immediately following our track meets.
