Join us and make a difference!
Our concession stands are powered by amazing Stafford volunteers! Whether you can help for one game, one shift, or throughout the season, your time makes a difference and helps us create a great experience for our students, families, and fans.
Volunteer opportunities are regularly shared on our social media pages and PTA communications.
For the safety of our students, all adult volunteers must complete the required background check through FISD before volunteering at school or PTA-sponsored events.
Help make our September concession nights a success!
Choose from the currently available September dates and select the shift that works best for you.
Additional volunteer dates will be added throughout the season for various sports, so check back for new opportunities.
No! You do not have to be a PTA member to volunteer with concessions. We welcome parents, guardians, family members, and other eligible Stafford volunteers who would like to help.
Not at all. No experience is required. We’ll provide instructions and help you get situated when you arrive.
No. Whenever possible, volunteer opportunities are divided into specific tasks and time slots so you can choose what fits your schedule.
Absolutely! Choose a shift that lets you help while still watching your child play. Helping before their game, after their game, or during another team’s time slot is a great option.
Your volunteer signup will include the requested arrival time. Setup volunteers may be asked to arrive before the event begins.
We understand that plans change. Please let the Concessions Chair know as soon as possible so we have time to find coverage for your shift.
Concessions may be held at Stafford or another FISD venue where Stafford is hosting an event. Always check the location listed on the volunteer signup, since venues may vary by sport and event.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, school-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended. Any event-specific requirements will be shared in the sign-up details.
Yes! You are welcome to sign up for as many concession shifts as your schedule allows.
Will someone show me what to do?
Yes. You’ll receive instructions for your assigned role, and someone will help you get started. We do not expect volunteers to arrive already knowing how everything works.
Can students volunteer?
Student volunteer opportunities may vary by event and school or district requirements. If student volunteers are permitted for a specific event, that information will be included in the sign-up.
