Open Day May 3rd 2024

On May the 3rd, the official opening for the new school building, completed in 2022, happened. The Tánaiste Micheal Martin, Bishop Nulty and lots others came along for the special day. Parents looked around the classrooms which displayed the art and projects we have completed. We then played hurling/camogie and football drills on the pitch. An ice-cream truck came and gave free ice-cream to everyone. It was a very enjoyable day!

The open day was a very fun event and I enjoyed it a lot. Unfortunately I did not get any ice cream but it was a amazing day. -Elliot

Near the end of the open day we did a football match on the pitch and then an ice cream truck came.

On the 3rd of May our school had an open day to celebrate the new school building. Zach, James, Olive and I ( Mya ) held the ribbon for the  Tánaiste ( Micheal  Martin ). Before the ribbon was cut we had a few words from bBishop Nulty and Micheal Martin  wishing us good luck with our new school extension.

At the open day we got to welcome people at the gates, and the student council got to welcome the Tánaiste and the Bishop. After the official opening we got to demonstrate some things. Most of the 6th class did football and hurling and I did coding. Near the end an ice cream truck came and we got free ice creams. It was very fun.

The day of the open day was on the 3rd of May. It was an amazing day. We got to meet Micheal Martin and the Bishop. We also did some Gaelic drills. Then when it was all over we got ice cream.

At the open day. The 6th class welcomed everyone at the school gates. we seen alot of important people like michael martin the tánaiste bishop dennis mcnaulty and  the supposing mayor of kildare we also cant forget the grandparents parents and children who came to our school during the open day.after an ice cream truck came to our school we all got ice creams for free. the ice creams were very milky tho by aiden.
