The Fight for Ethnic Studies
Panelists, who are parents, caregivers, organizers, educators and specialists will discuss the importance of advocacy for accessibility, disability justice, special education and education overall.
Panelists will introduce educational professionals to tools and strategies that support their mental health and wellness, which they can also extend to the families they serve. The panel will also discuss ways we can be cognizant of systemic issues that may be detrimental to our wellness, as well as ways we can support each other.
Panelists will provide insights from their personal experiences with the fight for Ethnic Studies in their local contexts. We will discuss challenges, supports, and recommendations to ensure authentic implementation and sustainability of Ethnic Studies programs.
FAEAC Grant Program
Proceeds from registration fees will support the FAEAC Grant Program for Filipinx Educational Projects. Application is open.
