What is PowerSchool?

PowerSchool is the district's electronic student information system where we collect and store student information. The Parent Portal is the doorway into our system giving parents access to information about their children. No special software is needed. You may use your home computer, a computer in a public library or anywhere that you have Internet access. If you do not have internet access you may continue to contact the school for your student's information as you have in the past.

The PowerSchool Parent Portal gives parents access to information including grades, teacher comments and attendance (attendance information may not be accurate until 4:00PM or later). Parents can help their students stay on top of assignments, and are able to participate in their student's progress. Teachers can share information with parents and students.

To access the Parent Portal, parents/guardians should open their Internet browser and go to https://powerschool.nlmusd.k12.ca.us/public or go to your child's school web page and click on the Parent Portal link. At the login page you will create your account if you do not already have one. More detailed instructions are provided in a pdf documents below. 

¿Qué es PowerSchool?

PowerSchool es el sistema electrónico de información estudiantil del distrito donde recopilamos y almacenamos información estudiantil. El Portal para padres es la puerta de entrada a nuestro sistema que brinda a los padres acceso a información sobre sus hijos. No se necesita ningún software especial. Puede usar la computadora de su casa, una computadora en una biblioteca pública o en cualquier lugar donde tenga acceso a Internet. Si no tiene acceso a Internet, puede continuar comunicándose con la escuela para obtener la información de su estudiante como lo ha hecho en el pasado.

El Portal para Padres de PowerSchool brinda a los padres acceso a información que incluye calificaciones, comentarios de los maestros y asistencia (la información de asistencia puede no ser precisa hasta las 4:00 p. m. o más tarde). Los padres pueden ayudar a sus estudiantes a mantenerse al tanto de las tareas y pueden participar en el progreso de sus estudiantes. Los maestros pueden compartir información con padres y estudiantes.

Para acceder al Portal para padres, los padres/tutores deben abrir su navegador de Internet e ir a https://powerschool.nlmusd.k12.ca.us/public o ir a la página web de la escuela de su hijo y hacer clic en el enlace del Portal para padres. En la página de inicio de sesión, creará su cuenta si aún no tiene una. Se proporcionan instrucciones más detalladas en un documento pdf a continuación.
