│Abstract Submission Review│
Please be sure to submit an abstract formatted in accordance with this year’s specifications. Abstracts that do not meet the specifications or themes of the Conference will be rejected.
The submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Conference Committee, and those selected will be assigned either poster or oral presentation.
│Digital Poster Session│
Once your abstract is selected by the Conference Committee, please submit your digital poster and video presentation before November 24, 2022 to the Conference Gmail account (fci.nkuht@gmail.com) with the subject line (“Corresponding Author’s Full Name” - “Title of the Paper”).
Product-based posters must include the following sections: creative concept, theoretical foundation, background information, methods and techniques, results and contributions, and references.
Research-based posters must include the following sections: introduction (including research objectives), literature review, research methods, results and discussion (including conclusion and recommendations), and references.
The poster must fit within a single A1 size sheet saved as a PDF with 12 point font or higher (Times New Roman for English text and 標楷體 for Chinese text).
You must prepare a maximum 3 minute long video recording of your poster presentation, including audio of the presentation, images of your poster and/or any accompanying models or diagrams. The file must be saved as either an MP4 or a MOV file and be of 1080p resolution or higher (Note: If the video and/or audio quality of your file is unclear or grainy, you will be asked to refilm and resubmit it).
The presentation will consist of the playing of your pre-recorded video file followed by a live question-and-answer session. The Conference will be conducted purely on Google Meet, so please have or create a Google account and test your headphones, webcam, and internet stability (Ethernet if possible) prior to the start of the Conference.
The Google Meet conference space will be open to the public 40 minutes before the announced start time. Please log in at least 20 minutes prior to the official Conference start time to check in with our staff, otherwise you will not be allowed to present and consequently will not receive a certificate for presenting.
After the Conference begins, the Conference staff will play the pre-recorded videos in order of submission number. After each video plays, a question-and-answer session will begin, where the poster judges will ask questions for the presenters to answer. This process will continue with each video until everyone has presented and answered questions.
The digital posters and pre-recorded presentation videos will be uploaded to the Conference webpage during the week of the Conference for participants to access.
When the session time has been formalized, it will be announced on the Conference agenda.
If you need space or equipment to record your presentation, please contact the Conference and reserve a time to come to the campus.
In order to protect the Intellectual Property Rights of the presenters, video or audio recording or any other form of reproduction of these presentations is strictly forbidden.
