The next few weeks during chapel we will be collecting money for Operation Christmas Child. The Samaritan's Purse project Operation Christmas Child collects shoebox gifts‑filled with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items—and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way. MCS elementary students will be packing Operation Christmas Child boxes during chapel next week. Students will be packing 52 boxes. The cost for shipping each box is $10. If you would like to donate towards shipping there are envelopes in the elementary office or you can send cash or check, payable to MCS, in an envelope marked Operation Christmas Child.
