About Ms. Rupert

Hello Polser Polar Bear Family!

This is my 19th year in education, and my first year as counselor at Polser STEM Academy. I am extremely excited to have been chosen to become the counselor at this exemplary STEM Academy. Prior to serving the Polser community, I served the Hebron 9th Grade Campus as an English 1, AVID, Reading, and ESL teacher for six years.

I am originally from the Hoosier state (Indiana). I lived on the Arizona-Mexico Border for a couple of years prior to moving to the Lone Star State. Having lived in three distinct regions of the United States has given me a better understanding and appreciation for people's unique cultures and experiences, which is important when serving a community as diverse as Carrollton, TX.

I intend to use my extensive counseling training to help all of my students feel accepted and valued as a person and scholar. It is also my hope that upon leaving Polser STEM Academy students have a thoughtful understanding of their social-emotional needs, appropriate coping skills, and a strong sense of character to help them throughout their lives.
