What time does the school day start and end?
We start at 7:40a and end at 3:05p. Doors open for drop-off at 7:15a.

How do I contact my child's teacher?
ClassDojo is the best way to reach us throughout the day, followed by email. You can also call the front office at 469-713-5180.

What if my child is going to be absent or late?
Email the office at indiancreekattendance@lisd.net. Then you may also send your child's teacher a message on ClassDojo.

How do I sign up to volunteer, chaperone a field trip, or eat lunch with my child?
You'll need to register in VOLY first. It's required every school year. Registering doesn't commit you to volunteering regularly.

What should my child bring to school each day?
Backpack, water bottle, take home folder, a snack, and library books on library day.

How do I find my child's bus route or track the bus?
LISD uses the "Stopfinder" mobile app. If you have any questions, contact LISD's transportation department at transportation@lisd.net or 469-713-5983.

How will I know what we're learning each week?
First, the monthly Newsletter for classroom updates every Friday afternoon. Also keep an eye on Class Dojo!

Can I send in a birthday treat or celebrate my child's birthday at school?
Yes, we love to celebrate birthdays! Treats just need to be store bought. Reach out to your child's teacher to make a plan.

Who do I contact about lunch account balances or cafeteria questions?
Download the LISD mobile app! You can check your child's lunch balance, pay for field trips, keep up with district news, and more.

What if my child needs to be picked up early or there's a change in dismissal plans?
Early dismissal changes must be made through the front office. Call the school or fill out this form.
