Mr. Starr is a born and raised Texan in the Dallas area, where he discovered his love of music in his middle school years and would take that growing passion through high school. During his time at the University of North Texas, Mr. Starr learned from many amazing mentors and would earn his bachelor's degree in Choral Music Education. Mr. Starr loves to create music and memories with all students who pass through the choir doors as well as sing as a tenor in choirs and his home church. In his spare time, Mr. Starr enjoys cooking, developing new skills, and going on adventures with his German Sheperd, Freyja. He is incredibly excited to be here at Huffines this year, and looks forward to the amazing students and music they will create this year.
