IMPORTANT NOTE FOR VLA SENIORS WITH AN OFF PERIOD: To maintain full-time student status, you must pass your VLA course. Unlike traditional classes, VLA courses grant attendance credit only if you pass. Because you have an off period, if you fail your VLA course, you will not have enough attendance credit to be considered a full-time student. If you are failing a VLA course not required for graduation two weeks after the course’s start date, you will be removed from the VLA course and placed in an in-person class to ensure that you continue to qualify as a full-time student. VLA courses cannot be used as a second off period.
