3rd Grade Weekly Update
Word study this week will be Verb Tenses, past, present, and future. There will NOT be spelling words this week.
In Reading we will continue discussing character relationships and how they impact the plot and how the setting also impacts the plot. Then move into discussing the theme and topic of a selection.
In writing we will continue working on writing an ECR. Finding the evidence to support how we answered the question.
Social Studies was fun last week, Celebrating Freedom and learning the words to the Preamble and what our Founding Fathers intended for our nation. This week we will begin learning the three branches of government at the national level.
In math we will continue working on memorizing our multiplication facts. We will also be learning about different types of graphs.
Science we are learning about combining matter to make something new.
