You must complete VOLY each year if you would like to volunteer in the classroom or attend any field trips.
3rd Grade Weekly Update
Hopefully everyone had a wonderful spring break and are ready to finish the year strong. We are entering our final 9 weeks of the school year!
We will attend the symphony on Wednesday, the 25th. Students should wear nice clothes for the symphony. Boys should wear dress or khaki pants and a collared shirt. Girls should wear a dress or dress pants with a blouse. We will eat an early lunch that day because we have to be on the bus at 11:20 am. Please send an afternoon snack with your child for them to have once we return to school.
We will have both of our STAAR tests this 9 weeks. Reading will be April 15th and Math, April 28th. 5th grade will also have the Science STAAR on April 22nd. The building will be closed to visitors on these days.
Our field trip to Farmers Branch Historical Park is on April 16th. We will be sending home permission slips later this month.
