Activity information:
This 16-week creative workshop is designed for students who enjoy hands-on art, design, and cultural exploration.
Each week, students will explore a different creative theme including eco-friendly crafts, paper art, 3D origami, Indian cultural traditions, seasonal projects, acrylic painting on recycled materials, clay art, and special celebration crafts such as Easter and Mother’s Day. All sessions are structured yet fun, allowing students to learn new techniques while expressing their personal style. By the end of the course, students will have a beautiful collection of handmade artworks they can proudly take home.

Flowers making from craft paper – Students will explore traditional floral art forms and learn how flowers are used in cultural celebrations while creating their own decorative floral-inspired artwork.

Autumn theme Art & Craft – A seasonal art session inspired by Autumn colors, nature, and renewal. Students will create Autumn-themed artwork.

Indian Tradition Bookmark & Folded Bookmark – Students will design culturally inspired bookmarks using folding techniques and traditional patterns.

Wall Hanging DIY for home decor - Students will learn wall decor craft by using waste Cardboards and colors and some craft papers.

Activity Information: This activity aims to develop and strengthen student understanding and mastery of the patterns that structure the Swedish language.
Students will be able to improve grammar and pronunciation - in an age appropriate manner, all while building confidence to pronounce and interact in Swedish. Whenever possible we will build on the students’ various linguistic backgrounds so as to best connect new knowledge with prior such. Their general understanding of and ability to use grammar will benefit all language learning.
This activity will help students strengthen their confidence to learn language effectively!

🎻Violin Lessons with Orlaith

Activity Information:
Individual violin lessons open to all levels, from complete beginner to advanced.
In the first term of lessons a beginner student will begin by learning about the parts of the violin, how to hold it, and then move to playing the first few notes and learning songs, all through fun and engaging teaching methods tailored to each individual child. Aside from the joy of learning how to play music, learning how to play the violin, or any musical instrument, teaches and develops many valuable life skills such as creativity and imagination, listening, patience, perseverance, problem solving, confidence, and many more. Students in the violin class also have an opportunity to take part in the end of year concert where they can showcase what they have learned in class.
Cost: The fee per lesson is 250 SEK + 25% moms per week of term. The fee covers a 30-minute individual violin lesson.
Instrument and lesson materials: Students should source and bring their own violin to the lessons. It is possible to rent a violin from Göteborgs Stad at the following link:
Lesson material such as sheet music will be provided for the first term.
About me:
I am a professional classical violinist and teacher from Ireland, holding Master’s degrees in violin and symphonic orchestra performance from MTU Cork School of Music and the University of Gothenburg. I perform regularly with leading orchestras and ensembles in Sweden, including the Gothenburg Oboe Quartet, and am passionate about teaching and sharing my love of music in a fun and rewarding way.

Activity Information: Bharatanatyam is a beautiful classical dance of India from India (Tamil Nadu).It combines graceful movements, expressive storytelling, and rhythmic music. This dance celebrates India's rich culture and traditions while building confidence, discipline, and creativity.

Register: The ISGR sports club offers several different after school sports activities in our PE halls. These activities begin from 16:00. Parents must be responsible for their child between the end of the school day and when the sport begins.
Cost: All participants will become members of the ISGR Sports Club and the fee for one activity is 500 SEK/term. If joining more than 1 activity, an additional fee of 200 SEK/term per activity will be added.
