This course covers basic algebraic principles and their applications. It is meant to provide students the knowledge and skills to be problem solvers using algebraic tools. It is a foundational year of algebra that is important for success in upcoming mathematics classes. My goal is to make math make sense! We will be working together to become problem solvers and to see how algebra is relevant and useful in today’s world while applying the new South Carolina College and Career Ready Mathematics Standards.
