The vision for T.A.L.E.S. is to provide experiential, cooperative learning opportunities for 7th & 8th grade students at Timberview Middle School. The activities and experiences will develop and strengthen leadership skills within the participants. In addition, participants will be provided with outdoor adventure experiences, which will help to increase their comfort level in the great outdoors. As a part of T.A.L.E.S. students get to go on field trips to experience the great outdoors. Past field trips have included:
Palmer Lake Reservoirs -- hiking and fishing
Ute Valley Park -- Geocaching
Mueller State Park -- winter adventure
Cheyenne Mountain State Park -- Geocaching
Great Sand Dunes National Park -- Exploration of the dunes, Medano Creek, and a cookout lunch.
