Enrichment Week 2026; Monday 29th June to Friday 3rd July
At St Andrew’s, we believe that excellent education is more than just being in a classroom and a set of academic grades. We take time to build the wider development of our students, by offering a range of activities across the year that focus on soft skills, career opportunities and cultural experiences. A big part of our enrichment programme is our annual Enrichment Week which this year runs from Monday 29th June to Friday 3rd July.
All students will take part in our 'Entitlement Day', where they will pick an offsite activity that focuses on building up cultural experiences (e.g. a type of museum). They will also have one day onsite taking part in their year group’s Futures Day, where they will take part in careers workshops. The week overview is:
Monday - Entitlement Day for all students
Tuesday - Year 7 take part in Futures Day and years 8 & 9 to pick activities,
Wednesday – Annual charity walk for all,
Thursday - Year 8 take part in Futures Day and years 7 & 9 to pick activities,
Friday – Year 9 take part in Futures Day and years 7 & 8 to pick activities.
The students have 3 days of which they can pick activities for from our array of free and paid for activities. Please record your child's preferences on the button at the bottom of this page.
Preferences are to be in by Friday 31st Oct. The trips you have selected that are going ahead will be added to your Bromcom the following week. Trips will not run if a minimum number is not reached. If too many students select a trip, we will try our best to expand capacity or run another trip on an alternative day. If any students are affected by this, I will speak to the students to discuss their options.
All paid trips need to have either the full amount or a deposit (£15) paid by Sunday 4th Jan. Any reminder payments need to be made by Sunday 26th April.
Please also note that the costs on these trips are provisional, and may alter slightly due to transport costs and ticket prices. Prices shown are always set to reflect the costs incurred by the school to provide events/activities. The cost for each trip is a voluntary contribution, however, if we cannot cover the cost of the trip, it will not run.
If you have any questions, please do email me or ask your child to speak to me at school.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs McNaught
