The Alcohol Detection System

Initially we have to set our device in the particular vehicle. We believe with innovative designs and manufacturing, our device can be sleek and compact to initialize. After the device is once in the vehicle, the vibration sensor is used to detect whether the engine of the vehicle is running or not, acting as an indication to whether the vehicle has started or not. There are 3 LED's that act as indicators to the user/drivers of the vehicle.

The Blue LED starts to glow as an indication that you have not given the alcohol test and asks the user to blow into the alcohol sensor. A low frequency buzzing sound from the buzzer will also accompany the Blue LED light to the users/drivers as a reminder and indicator to take the alcohol test. If the user/driver neglects this, then after 2 minutes since the start of the vehicle, an SMS will be sent to the authorities mentioning the Vehicle Number explaining that the user/driver has driven away without giving alcohol test. This will automatically penalize the user/driver as a challan(fine) would be registered on the vehicle.

The Red LED starts to glow if the user/driver has given their alcohol test but they have failed their test i.e their Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) is higher than the regulated amount. Similarly, an San SMS will be sent to the authorities mentioning the Vehicle Number explaining that the user/driver is driving under the influence of alcohol. This will automatically penalize the user/driver as a challan(fine) would be registered on the vehicle. The Buzzer will now start to give out a high frequency sound at the user/driver indicating them to stop driving as they have crossed the alcohol limit.

The Green LED starts to glow if the user/driver has given their alcohol test and have passed their test i.e their Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) is lower than the regulated amount. The user/driver is now good to go and can continue on their journey
