Hello and Welcome! My name is Jean (Struewing) Bossert and this is my 38th year at St. Louis School. I grew up outside of Oldenburg, attended Holy Family School and Batesville High School. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree at IU/ Bloomington making me a diehard Hoosier fan! I then earned my Master’s Degree at Ball State to round out my educational career .
My family is my husband, Mike, myself, and our 2 children, Patrick and Claire. We live in a 136 year old home in St. Peters, Indiana that is always a work in progress. Our children are graduates of St. Louis School and BHS.
Our son Patrick was a roofer for Gutapfel Roofing for almost 5 years. He decided to pursue the welding trade at Hobart Institute of Welding Technology (HIWT) in Troy, Ohio, and will graduate in December. He loves history, animals, and anything associated with be out in, on, or under the water.
Our daughter, Claire, graduated from Marian University in May 2020. She is now a Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) at IU Health in Indianapolis, where she resides, working in their microbiology lab. We tease her that she loves goop, goo, and gunk! Her other passion is sharing her faith with the teens at Arsenal Tech High School in Indy through the Young Life Organization.
It is a wonderful experience to be a part of the St. Louis family and see the commitment to Catholic education continue through each generation.
Outside of school I enjoy traveling, reading, watching movies, spending time with my large extended family, and of course our pets. We have a dog, Mac, our cat, Katelyn, and 1 goldfish.
