Fourth grade students will deepen their understanding of whole numbers, decimal numbers, and fractions. During the first grading period, the students will develop their understanding of multiplying whole numbers.
Each week the fourth graders will complete several assignments that will be checked, but a percentage grade will not be placed on them. These assignments are for learning and practicing new concepts and skills. About once a week the students will complete a "Review" that assesses a mixture of concepts and skills. These problem sets will be marked with a percentage grade.
