Jesus and his followers went to Capernaum. On the Sabbath day Jesus went to the synagogue and began to teach. The people there were amazed at his teaching. He did not teach like their teachers of the law. He taught like a person who had authority. While he was in the synagogue, a man was there who had an evil spirit in him. The man shouted,

St Stephen's Centenary Mass
St Stephen's Centenary Mass
Last Sunday St Stephen's celebrated their centenary with a special Mass, led by Bishop Alan Williams, that was attended by many parishioners, staff, children and governors from the school and also Sir Stephen Timms, our local MP. There was a celebration held after the Mass which was enjoyed by all.

Next Friday, 2nd February is Number Day 2024. The children may dress up in any number related clothing, the pictures above are from previous year's Number Days. We have had lots of children wearing football shirts with numbers on and also children creating 'calculator' costumes, anything number or maths related is fine!

Please note that the children should not bring rucksacks/backpacks into school as there is not enough space to store them safely. The children should have a book bag, either the one with the school logo (available from the school office or from My Clothing at £6.50 (+p&p) and will have the school logo on, not the example logo shown on the website) or a plain blue book bag. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.

If that sets your alarm bells ringing, you’re far from alone: law enforcement agencies and schools in several countries have seen fit to issue warnings about the platform ⚠

We would strongly recommend purchasing non branded items, such as trousers, skirts, shirts, blouses, socks and shoes from supermarkets or other clothing retailers, many of whom will be having return to school sales.
