Autumn No. 5, Friday 1st October 2021
Autumn No. 5, Friday 1st October 2021
Some Pharisees came to Jesus and tried to trick him. They asked, “Is it right for a man to divorce his wife?”
Jesus answered, “What did Moses command you to do?”
They said, “Moses allowed a man to write out divorce papers and send her away.”
Jesus said, “Moses wrote that command for you because you refused to accept God’s teaching. But when God made the world, ‘he made them male and female.’ ‘So a man will leave his father and mother and be united with his wife. And the two people will become one body.’ So the people are not two, but one. God has joined the two people together. So no one should separate them.”
Later, the followers and Jesus were in the house. They asked Jesus again about the question of divorce. He answered, “Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman is guilty of adultery against her. And the woman who divorces her husband and marries another man is also guilty of adultery.”
Some people brought their small children to Jesus so he could touch them. But his followers told the people to stop bringing their children to him. When Jesus saw this, he was displeased. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me. Don’t stop them. The kingdom of God belongs to people who are like these little children. I tell you the truth. You must accept the kingdom of God as a little child accepts things, or you will never enter it.” Then Jesus took the children in his arms. He put his hands on them and blessed them.

The date of the School Photos has changed to Wednesday 13th October so that the Nursery children may also have their photos taken. Phase 2 (Y3 & Y4) should wear their full school uniform and bring in their PE kits to change into, thank you.
Please click this link to go to a step by step guide on how to access Google classroom.
As always at the start of the year the children are coming in in their lovely new uniform. Unfortunately, some children take off their jumpers and are not entirely sure where they have left them! To help us return the jumpers to the correct children it is VERY helpful if you put your child's name in every item of school uniform, especially jumpers. If you would like to see the school uniform policy please click the button below.
The children will be having PE on the following days each week:
Y1 & Y2: Tuesday am & pm
Y3 & Y4: Wednesday pm & Thursday pm
Y5 & Y6: Monday pm & Friday pm
For the moment all children may continue to come to school in their PE Kits, as outlined in the school uniform list.
This week's guide is about Pokemon GO
Pokémon GO was released in July 2016, and had amassed more than 100 million downloads by the end of that month. The following year, an academic study by an American university reported that people playing Pokémon GO in areas near traffic had been a named factor in 31 injuries and two fatalities in the US alone.
That’s not to say that the game itself is dangerous – just that eager young Pokémon trainers may regularly need reminding about the importance of staying aware of their surroundings. That’s just one of the safety tips in our #WakeUpWednesday guide to Pokémon GO, which also touches on the visibility of young players’ locations and possibility of contact from strangers.
If you would like to see previous guides please go to https://nationalonlinesafety.com/hub/guide which has all of the guides and much more.
