DO YOU HAVE ANY OUTGROWN OR UNWANTED CHRISTMAS JUMPERS? IF SO, PLEASE BRING THEM ALONG TO THE PLAYGROUND NEXT WEEK AND PLACE THEM IN THE FOSS CHRISTMAS JUMPER BINS. THESE WILL BE SOLD AT THE CHRISTMAS FAIR ON 3RD DECEMBER IN READINESS FOR OUR CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY ON WEDNESDAY 15TH DECEMBER.

ALL ROADS LEAD TO ROME

The Romans taught the world a thing or two (despite what those Monty Pythons claimed), including their famous testudo or tortoise battle formation. Our Year Four Roman legionaries put it into practice when they battled in the playground this week. All part of immersing themselves in Roman life, their current history topic. Fortified with their stunning Roman shields, crafted by their own fair hands, they got a real taste of life in the Roman Empire, St Stephen's style.
