Our Year Two children are keeping busy with some place value work in Maths and a close examination of The Billy Goats Gruff story in their guided reading sessions. Our regular guided reading sessions are invaluable for consolidating reading strategies. Children examine language, inference and skimming and scanning. Targetted questioning helps maximise our children's understanding of the text and builds on their comprehension skills.
