 Dear Parents/Guardians

Richmond Schools Police officers and the local Safer Neighbourhood teams will be running a FREE youth sessions for school years from year 5 to year 11 during the October school Holidays.    

The sessions will be in a local park and run from 10am-1pm.  This is a great opportunity for your young child(ren) to have some fun and be out in the open air playing games. In the sessions we will playing, football, tennis, rugby and other various games.  After each game we will give them some input on how to keep themselves safe from not being a victim or a suspect. The topics will be from Robberies, county lines, online safety/Malicious communications from social media, drugs, ASB, bullying and how play fighting can turn into a serious incidents. No parents/guardians need to be present during the session, however you are more than welcome to stay and join in if you wish. 

Also there is the opportunity for the children and parents/guardians to have contact with their local safer neighbourhood team. The Safer neighbourhood team will run their bike marking and provide necessary crime prevention. 

We will have a limited number of spaces per day and they are required to have signed up prior to attending. 

If you are interested in your child joining these sessions, please do contact the officer below who can register your child on a session. Please remember the officer might not be able to answer your email straight away due to other operational needs. They will reply back to all request at their earliest convenience.  

Monday 28th October 2024 –Broom Road Park, Teddington – School years 5-8

Tuesday 29th October 2024 - Broom Road Park, Teddington- School Years 9-11

Wednesday 30th October 2024 – Kneller Gardens, Twickenham – School Year 5-8
