KS1

Key stage 1 teachers use adaptive teaching, practical investigations and accessible resources to ensure all pupils can participate fully in scientific enquiry. We promote collaborative learning, encourage questioning and curiosity. Children in KS1 will begin to study topics linked to biology, chemistry and physics both within the classroom and in and around the schools grounds. Children will be given the chance to begin planning their own investigations and work collaboratively to test their hypothesis.
